The TW-1000A discussed is a 1KW SSB Linear amplifier designed for 1.6 to 30 MHz
use. The current model is called the TW-1000D and is built by the Titan division
of Datron Corporation. Originally these units were used with the TW-100 transceiver
at American Embassies around the would. Do a Google search for Transworld and you can
trace their history. Many of the TW-100's are currently used by MARS stations worldwide
and some of the TW-1000A units have been obtained by MARS. Several National Guard
units still have Transworld unit in operation. There is a lot of info available about
this unit on the Internet if you will search for it.
