Hello Robert,
TW 1000 is a Hallicrafters 3 way (AC/DC/battery)
portable multiband AM/SW tube radio that was in
competition with the Zenith Transoceanic (G500, H500,
etc.) and RCA Globe Trotter (BX6) during the early
1950's.
