While on the subject of connectors, I could use some BNC Twinax
connectors (page 2 of the connector identifier at
<http://www.pasternack.com> Ideally, a male and a female, or
a male and a female-female adapter.

My R-1449 is visible at
<http://members.cts.com/king/j/jlkolb/site/1449.htm>

All the BNC appearing connectors in the pictures are twinax.
Looks like the antenna comes in balanced, stays balanced through
the front end attenuator and band selection filters, all the way
to the mixer.

Also need copies of any documentation/schematics anyone might
have.

Since the previous owner removed the rear interface connector
for the power and antenna and brought out wires, figure to put
in a plate with IEC power connector if I can get the radio
working again. What would be the most standard choice for a rear panel
connector for a balanced antenna - a large twinax connector
as used on the R-390's?
