The only thing I would be careful of is that some west coast NW 
towns have a severe problem in that for much of the year they 
are entirely covered by clouds. Many of the inhabitants suffer 
from depression, especially during the winter, because of this. 
This problem is especially prevalent in small Oregon coastal 
towns. The suicide rates are higher than average, as is 
alcoholism. I would check this out before-hand if I were you.

I lived in a small town on the Oregon coast for several months, 
many years ago. One thing I noticed was that the interior of the 
two houses I lived in smelled a lot like mildew most of the time, 
probably due to the severe lack of sunlight as much as the 
humidity. I also noticed this in stores.
