No, they aren't. I have a pretty good selection of ground radar and IFF 
manuals (maintenance and otherwise), and the BG-s, and CH-s are just 
never mentioned.

One of the reasons there is so much of this stuff around is that the 
Signal Corps went spares crazy - every set typically had onsite spares. 
Not just parts, but the whole units. Each set came with quite a few extra 
transit boxes, just to hold that extra BC-1267 and RA-105. More CH- numbers.

Yes. This is why the FM-82 is used and not the more standard FM-80. The 
BC-1293 is not needed, as the IFF marks are painted on the original 
(modified) BC-412 scopes. No BC-1293 antenna control is needed because 
being an SCR-268, the whole shootin' match moves with the antenna.
