[Milsurplus] Two B-Cs

Bill,

That's a very good point, that I had not noticed. The majority of the
relatively few IFF manuals that I have are just the Operator's manuals which in some
cases don't even list all of the nomenclature of what they're telling how to
operate. But although this RC-148-C manual is better than most (it also lists
some test and maintenance cables that I didn't list below), the parts lists
are electrical parts only.

I'm sure, knowing the Signal Corps (and from canvas covers over some other
items in the SCR-268-C photo) that the RC-148-C had a canvas cover or covers,
and probably transit cases for shipping the components, since from the
instructions, it wasn't installed wherever the 268 was built. But no mention of them
in the manual. Mind you, I don't have any of the other manuals on it. There
was a Service manual (TM 11-1518) and probably an Operator's manual (TM
11-1318). But odds are they weren't mentioned there either.

BTW, this manual also covers the BC-412-A oscilloscope, including parts and
schematic. Possibly because one had to be modified in order to install the IFF
set.
