In the mid-late '69( got back from VN post TET , Hue,Dong-Ha, Qua-Viet
in April-May '68) and into early '71 I did depot repairs on a grunch of Mil
Aircraft radios, tacans, IFFs, and ECM while I went to school in the day and
worked 2nd shift to support myself and new wife. One of the big contracts
was Navy and Airforce AN/ARC-27s. I did that 8-10 hrs every night for 2
years, from build up to final QC then aircraft install and test /sell( Navy
F8). ( I was one tab-bending 'Mo-Fo!) Some of the boxed parts were dated in
the late '40s. We had an AN/ARC-27 serial # BRF-001 we called Noah's ARC!
