And where were these expressions of interest elicited?
By advertising on what lists, i am curious.

Well, i certainly have a couple pieces worth more than any PPN-*.
However, i have no interest whatsoever in starting a list for the SE100/10,
for example. If someone wants to exchange historical data on it here on this
list, fine; if someone needs to know the correct size screw thread for power
supply fasteners, i will respond off-list.

I assume you mean the misnamed 19-Set list, which really is about UK communications
of WW2. That list does have a nationality and era focus i like. Also, no matter the name,
it is NOT specific to one radio set. I rather like the focus of time period. I myself have no
interest in the late model semi-recent equipment, and i'm sure most if not all fanciers
of synthesized all-band late gear have equal disinterest in simple WW2 boxes.
