If these are the guys who run the Golden Gate National Recreation Area Nike 
site in the Marin Headlands (just north of SF) they are the real deal. They 
have lots of Nike stuff on display including an underground launcher. I listened 
to a very scary 1950's tale about how an errant off course out of radio 
contact trans pac charter airliner came within seconds of being on the wrong end of 
a Nike.  A cool headed officer decided to wait despite it having met all the 
criteria for destruction. Too bad he wasn't on that US Navy ship that launched 
a missile at that Iranian airliner thinking it was an attacking Iranian F 14.
