[Milsurplus] Other AN rigs...

The AN/ARC-2 is really cool.You sqweeze an ARC-5 and an ART-13 and the dynamotor all into a smaller box.At one time I had two working  and one not so working(no modulation).They have good voice audio but the receiver is quite broad.They had red lamps to illuminate the dial but the room had to be pretty dark to see them.All have found new homes though.

I've wanted an AN/ARC-2 for some time. Had one lined up once 
by a good fellow who is a list member, but then had a medical 
emergency interfere and was not able to complete the deal.

That AN/ARC-9 sounds like a neat rig too...

Maybe someday...
