It's a pretty nice set.  I bought one in 1975 when Fair Radio still had =
them.  It cost me $50 plus motor freight from Ohio to Idaho.  It had =
been modified by the USN to incorporate many of the changes made for the =
later RT-298/ARC-2A.  The AN/ARC-2 is not a WWII set, it only has the =
flavor of one.  I believe AN/ARC-2 sets didn't appear until the late =
1940s, if then.

Last time I prowled around the new Fair Radio warehouse (last May, =
during Dayton Hamvention), they had the remnants of one.  Not much was =
left of it, though.

Accessories are hard to find.  I got the mounting rack finally in 2000, =
and the control box only last month.

And apparently, of actual WWII vintage.
