I have a manual for the CU991 autotune c135 GI version if ya want

Thing has phase detector, chopper-based DC amp., discriminator.  
Spools ribbon off & on a metal bobbin

Ya need 115 400cps @ 20W & 250V 60ma & 28V .5A to make it go BUT
it's worth it.

Metal / ceramic bobbin deal precludes chance of contact burn-out 
like on latest & bigger & bigger & bigger real perfessional-like 
screwdriver-powsered ham loading mobile coils.

Collins knew trub half-century back, screwdriver coil lads have been 
trying rong fix now 5 years & still don't get it.
