[Milsurplus] What is it with some of these European guys?

Dave -

Their rudeness may not be intentional but rather due to their limited lack
of the English language. I too suffered from that syndrome when I came to
the states in 1956 at the age of 11. In some cases I still am not able to
utilize the proper words each and every time. In Hungary, we had to learn
Russian, not English. To me, maybe because of my background, foreign sets
always were, and still are, intriguing. I guess that is why now I have a
fair collection of foreign radios of that vintage. I expect the same is true
with these fellows across the Atlantic. However, not all are able to express
their wishes tactfuly. If I were you I would see what they may have to
trade. You will never know if you simply delete their message, or help them
improve their command of the English language. If they continue to be
sincerely rude, then do as you have, ignore them. 73 - Mike
