George and group: The GE and Moto numbers listed are the series-drive, 6-v
synchronous vibs used in the PP-109/112/241/448 that power the
RT-66/67/68/70 VRC/GRC radios. (There is also a shunt-drive version which I
have not yet been able to make work!)

While many of these work right off, it seems the rubber padding inside
outgasses sulfur, which tarnishes the silver contacts.  This can be burnt
off, or physically cleaned off, using the referenced methods mentioned.

Being a true masochist, I use these in preference to any "sordid-state"
replacements/mods.  There's nothing like that 115cps hmmmmm to tell you not
to put your pinkies in the power supply ... while I have a goodly supply,
I'll take any and all anyone else doesn't want.
