I have photographs of a B-29 in Korea service 
circa about 1950 with SCR-274N and ART-13 installed.  
One thing we have learned- just about any combination
of equipment you can dream up was used by somebody
at one time or another.  
There is no single, "historically correct" installation.  If they needed a radio and
they could rip it out of an old wreck, 
they'd haywire it in and use the 
"correct" installation instructions
 as a door stop.
