[Milsurplus] TRC-7 Transceiver?

Christian and gang,

I have the TM 11-617 manual for the AN/TRC-7, dated
22 February 1945. The only component I have is the antenna,
which looks a little like a groundplane. The base is AB-77 and the
elements are AB-78. Three elements are above the mount and
three are below.
The Receiver-Transmitter (one piece unit) is an RT-53/TR-7,
covering 100-156 mHz. The RT sits on top of the BA-70 battery
(straps onto it).
The manual also shows a setup with a soldier turning a handcrank 
generator.
I've never seen one of these. The antenna and manual were salvaged
from a SK's collection. The radio might have been there, but most
of the collection had already gone to the dumpster.
