Regards,

I just added a scan of the ARC-105 brochure to my WEB site.

All,

I would be very surprised if the B-58 had an unpressurized HF radio such as
the ARC-58. The ARC-105 was first installed on the RF-101

Dave & the gang -

In the 64/65 Collins catalog, the 618T looks very preliminary - some
pictures are wrong and many of the specs do not match later 'real' 618T
units.

I bet the B-58 carried an ARC-58. The ARC-58 is one generation
earlier than the 618T, and it's vintage & mission both match those of
the B-58.

The ARC-58 is pretty large, but it came in a pressurized version so
some pieces could be mounted in unpressurized areas in the plane.

What year did the B-58 enter service?
