One of the list members was so kind as to send me the
dimensions of the base from which I made a replica
for my key. Unfortunately, the paper is in storage.
The key is a chromed Speed-X with navy knob. I will send
photos of the key (less cord). The cord is a plain
rubberized cord with a standard key jack plug.
The key was secured to the opened cover with a thumbscrew
which a very kind friend custom made for mine.

It was an RCA mike you see on Ebay now and then.
The mic is usually found with pin connectors.
Solder to a PL-68 and you have the correct mike.
Will send you a photo and post one on

Never seen or heard of any of these still existing.

I've worked several state with my SCR-288 on both 80 and 40.
Good luck with it; it's a cool rig.
