G'day,

I suppose there are other stupids apart from me who have aligned/tried
to.... modules in a  ARC -38A.
The one I  have in mind is the  reference oscillator which, the manual
says , can only be aligned  with the TS ARM -26A and with the module
out of the radio. Having  resourced the lateral thinking processes and
not achieving a meaningful outcome and not having the  aforementioned
test set with the adaptor asked for, maybe someone better endowed, has
been there and done it.
Any  takers?
