Hi All,

I have an AN/GSA-7 unit for sale. FM 24-24 describes this set as follows:

The AN/GSA-7 is a small, lightweight, electronic switching device used to
integrate FM radio equipment with local, push-to-talk, telephone circuits
NRI. It permits the AN/GSA-7 operator to key the transmitter, and it
automatically converts a 20-Hz telephone ringing signal to a 1600-Hz radio
ringing signal and vice versa.

Technical Characteristics
Frequency Range:............... 300 to 3500 Hz
Planning Range:............... 16 km (10 mi), using WD-1/TT
Power Input:............... 22 to 30 V DC or 115/230 V AC, 50 to 400 Hz
Power Source:............... Vehicle power or AC power source
Type of Service:............... 30K0F3E
Weight: ............... 12.5 kg (27.5 lb)

For a diagram of the GSA-7 and it's interconnect go to:

http://www.adtdl.army.mil/cgi-bin/atdl.dll/fm/24-24/2424ch43.htm

Basically it looks like a sophisticated phone patch for tactical FM radios
that allows remote ring operation between a remote (up to 16 km) field phone
and the FM radio. It runs off of AC or DC. This one is in very good
condition with very nice original green paint. It comes with the following
cables:

1. AC Power Cord with 115v 2/3 prong plug on one end and the required
power connector on the other. Approx. 8 ft long.
2. DC Power Cord with two eyelets on one end and the required power
connector on the other. Approx 8 ft long.
3. Cable to interconnect a radio to the GSA-7, Radio Set Control consisting
of a U-78/U on the GSA-7 end and a U-77/U on the end for the radio being
controlled.
Approx 3 ft long.
4. Cable to interconnect a phone to the GSA-7, Radio Set Control consisting
of a U-77/U on the GSA-7 end and two pin tips on the other end. Approx 6 ft
long.

All cables are original and in very good condition with the exception of the
GSA-7 to phone cable which is in good condition except the outer rubber
jacket has cracks (due drying out?). Still very flexible and functional
though, it is not a cracking mass of wire and rubber like some old cables.

The operating condition is unknown but it does look complete and is in very
good condition both externally and internally. I doesn't look like it was
used/abused much if at all.

No Manual but Fair Radio is advertising a copy for $10. See:

Price with cables: $99 + shipping.
