Hi all
I'm trying to get an AVA-126 power supply up and running and
am wondering if I can get a little assistance. The unit came in a
slightly modified condition, and I have restored some of the
mods but still have 2 questions.
Here is the problem.
As received, the 0Z4 rectifier had been replaced with a 6X5.
As the 0Z4 does not have a filament, pins 2 and possibly
7 were used as tie points for other components. These components
were removed/relocated to feed primary voltage to the 6X5 filaments.
I'm wondering if anyone who has a stock AVA-126 supply
can pop off the bottom and tell me what is connected to
pins 2 and 7?
Second question, anyone have any specs on a
Cornell Dubilier 5510 vibrator? This is the vibrator
that came with this supply, the case says its a 6V
vibrator, but the pins on the base are connected
internally in the 12 volt configuration.
Thanks
Jack
