Hi Ira & the group,
This might be a tiny piece of info:
http://www.cc.gatech.edu/gvu/people/randy.carpenter/folklore/aug99-v3n4.html
The web page listed gives some information about the Athena computer that
was used in conjunction with the Titan missile system.
I have what I think might be a plug-in module from this system. It is in
a sealed can with fancy gold plated connector. Dated Sept. 1960 & labled
Remington Rand "Univac" (no mention of Sperry yet!). It bears a contract
number: AF04(647)-324 U.S. The can measures roughly 5" x 4.5" x 2"
thick.
I'd be interested in any info about this thing myself, and can post some
pictures if it would help or if there is any interest.

Sheldon Wheaton KC0CW
