Some one else asked me about URC-68 batteries. I still have one left, as a
display with one of my 68's, that I modified about 30 or more years ago to
take NiCds. I will gladly take photos and provide dimensions of the battery.
I had hundreds of them. As a stupid kid back in the late 60's, I took them
all apart and got the mercury out of the cells. Hope the EPA reads this,
because, guess what, I am still here. BTW, I also found all of the
schematics of the individual thick-films within the modules, in case any of
you would be masochistic enough to attempt to repair any. 73 - Mike
