[Milsurplus] Long shot...

Last time I was there, Baranowski Surplus (in PA) had some junker GRC-9
receiver and transmitter units in a few large bins. I'm sure you could find
the IF transformer you need if you picked up a few receiver chassis.

Do any of you have the following "gem" in their spares chest, or an
appropriate "receiver for parts" containing same?

Looking for the following item: "Transformer, I.F., Rauland dwg
LR-0002;special", Signal Corps PN 2Z9641.80.

This is the I.F. can used in the receiver of the SCR-694 [BC-1306]
(schematic items 43-1, -2, and -3) and the AN/GRC-9 (schematic items T4,T5,
and T6). It's probably used elsewhere, in receivers where a 1R5 (or
equivalent) mixer-osc is coupled to a 1L4 (or equivalent) I.F. amp, etc.

I've got a late model BC-1306 (MFP 1-53) in like-new condition, except for
this one i.f. can whose secondary winding is open, rendering the receiver
severely output-challenged. Yes, I've pulled the can out of the receiver,
removed its cover, and tried to repair it, but the lead in question broke
off up inside the coil. Further repair attempts will only lead to further
destruction, I think. Unless one of you has a magic restoration procedure...

But I'd much rather just replace it! So if you have a "don't need" spare,
name your price, or the gem you'll want in trade!
