Re Dave comments, i have a Marine Corps manual on installation
of RU-GF in 90 mm self propelled gun. Sorry, can't give you any
M-type on the vehicle at this moment. If i recall, only 1 or 2 coil
sets were supplied, maybe only the operative coilset in the radio.
Must have been fun, matching a whip antenna. And yes, i also
have seen that ambulance RUGF photo, interesting. Hm,this
vehicle usage maybe enuff to push me into keeping a simple
basic RUGF setup.

BTW, on nontypical deployments, i have heard from 2 different
sources now, of the Japanese 1 tube walkie talkie type 94/6,
being removed from crashed Japanese fighter planes.  ( Described
as "Zero" altho to non aircraft trained people, this covered all
Japanese low monoplane single seat fighters.)   Used for liaison
with ground troops? Who knows anymore??
