The E6Bs have exhibited an apparent heightened level of activity over the
past few+ days. And many are flying under tactical/one-off hex codes.

1748z: SIMCA 76 (E6B; AE470E; BU 162782) launched from TRAVIS and
eventually flew over the Pacific. He's currently over San Bernardino,
California.

     11175.0 was active at 1757z with BIRDSEYE calling MAINSAIL with no
known response.

     11175.0 was active at 1818z with MEMORIAL (NCS) broadcasting the 30
character EAM HJ7JOD.

     11175.0 was active at 1838z with BIRDSEYE calling KNOWLEDGE "with 274
message of 3 groups" and into his message traffic script: HZH FTC LNQ; I
say again; repeat in full; this completes 274 message of three groups;
BIRDSEYE out. He did not state a timestamp or an authentication.

     11175.0 was active at 2001z with ANDVT bursts.

2123z: PLINK 80 (E6B; AE44C9) launched from PAX RIVER and flew to the
Atlantic.

     11175.0 was active at 2125 with TAILSPIN calling REAFFIRM and
immediately disregarded. He was immediately back up calling REAFFIRM again,
raised MAINSAIL, but called REAFFIRM again with no known response.

     11175.0 was active at 2135z with MEMORIAL broadcasting the 30
character EAM HJWI7E.

     11175.0 was active at 2150z with MOTORIST broadcasting HJWI7E at the
h+20/h+50 TACAMO PAC restoral rebroadcast window.

     11175.0 was active at 2210z, 2240z, 2310z with OCCASION broadcasting
HJWI7E at the h+10/h+40 TACAMO LANT restoral rebroadcast window.

     17.8 KHz VLF FSK was active at 22(mid hourish; missed the exact time)
with HJWI7T. Very garbled on midwestern SDR that usually captures the
signal fine.

     11175.0 was active at 2329z with OCCASION calling MAINSAIL with no
known response.

     11175.0 was active at 2336z with OCCASION calling KNOWLEDGE (see 1838z
above) with "a message of 3 groups" and into his message traffic script:
CPS HYP ENA; time 2336z; authenticate UK, UK (spoken twice); I say again;
repeated in full including speaking the doublet twice; OCCASION out.

It's possible that BIRDSEYE and MOTORIST are one and the same; and,
TAILSPIN and OCCASION are one and the same based on their coincident
communications just after visible launch vs. ultimate restorial
transmissions while over the Pacific and Atlantic. Or, not.
