[MilCom] MIL: 8992.0/11175.0 USB - LABOR DAY; WHIPSAW; GLOAMING; PASSPORT; and ACT WISE

2250z 22 Mar 25

21 Mar 25:

     8992.0 was active at 1313z with LABOR DAY (NCS HFGCS) broadcasting the
30 character EAM HJFX4T.

1430z+/-: NARY 26 (E6B; AE041B) launched from TINKER.

     8992.0 was active at 1430z (during launch) with PASSPORT (NARY 26)
broadcasting HJFX4T at the h+00/h+30 restoral rebroadcast window.

     8992.0 was active at 1437z with PASSPORT calling and eventually
raising LABOR DAY to enter the net at 1439z.

     11175.0 was active at 1501z with PASSPORT broadcasting HJFS4T (he was
southbound to the east of Dallas, TX at the time of transmission).  He was
active again with HJFSAT at 1530z east of Houston, Texas enroute to the
Gulf coast.  Nothing heard at 1530z. He flew to the boundary of the ADIZ
and made a dogleg turn back to the Louisiana coast. PASSPORT checked out
the net in the blind at 2149z.

1916z: FUNGO 24 (E6B) launched from TRAVIS and flew east.

     11175.0 ACT WISE (FUNGO 24) called LABOR DAY, raised MAINSAIL, and
entered the net at 2031z.

     11175.0 was active at 2033z with ACT WISE calling WHIPSAW with no
known response. Again at 2038z with no response.  At 2042z ACT WISE called
GLOAMING with no known response. Again at 2043z with no known response.

     11175.0 was active at 2045z with ACT WISE (now over Arizona) sending
his message traffic of 3 groups (apparently in the blind) to GLOAMING: JCY
KQJ LNQ; time 44; authentication AC; repeated in full; ACT WISE out.

     11175.0 was active at 2135z with LABOR DAY broadcasting the 164
character EAM H5UX7K.  Strict structure of six [18/quad] blocks, and with
the 9 character ending block.
