1933z 18 Aug 24
Update:
18 Aug 24 All USB on 11175.0 various SDRs.
1731z HARDWOOD (HFGCS), after disregarding a 1730z string, broadcast a 30
character EAM X2HHDJ.
1757z RUMOR 09 E6 becomes active at TINKER on adsb sites.
1804z HARDWOOD with repeat of X2HHDJ.
1805z RUMOR 09 launches from TINKER.
1824z HARDWOOD with X22KK4.
1830z HARDWOOD with X2X3ST.
1833z HARDWOOD with X2K6OK.
1836z HARDWOOD with restoral repeats of:
X2K6OK more to follow
X2X3ST more to follow
X2DOUP. This is a new string (unheard earlier but oddly part of this repeat
cycle.)
1900z nothing heard.
At 1928z RUMOR 09 is transiting Galveston, TX airspace (specifically
Scholes Field; even more specifically the western boundary of Scholes
Field) E6 entry point to the Gulf of Mexico. There's reserved airspace in
the ADIZ beginning at 1945z. That "western boundary" comment has been
mostly accurate entry after entry per ADSBExchange. It's also used on most
returns.
It's possible he'll be heard later at H+00/h+30 with message traffic,
if any.
That was 87 hours of perceived E6 inactivity. Thursday, Friday,
Saturday and half of Sunday North American local time.
