I think you will find that Army National Guard Aviation units,
especially helicopters are pretty active on low band FM. Here in the
Western Massachusetts area as example: MA ARNG use 46.75 & CT ARNG use
41.90 quite extensively for their helicopter operations. Take a look at
airnav.com for the airports nearby and they may list what any military
aviation unit on that airport is using.
