[MilCom] Scanner Antenna

Hey guys.  I am looking for an omni-directional scanner antenna that has gain. Right now I am using 
a discone that has been good to me for over 22 years. My plans are to mount a new antenna up on my
tower. That alone will give me gain over its current spot on the eave of my rancher. This time I want the
most gain possible gain I can get. Not counting yagis or other directional antennas that is. 

Anyone got any ideas?
