[MilCom] Fwd: [MilRadioComms] B-1 Bomber emergency at Patrick AFB

The B-1's gear looked down when he flew by my  house; he is safely on the 
ground now. They are going to tow him off. Comms with  tower now on 269.375. 
Says smoke coming off the jet's brakes is perfectly  normal. Seems to be 
leaking hydraulic fluid tho.

B-1B "Thunder 01" is holding over Nav Fix "ZEVEX" for 40 minutes at 7000 ft 
 to burn off some of his fuel load before attempting an emergency landing 
at  Patrick AFB.

tower and to Airboss that he has a landing gear  malfunction indication in 
aircraft.  Says he will not be able to perform  the pass at the Cocoa Beach 
Air Show and will RTB to Patrick.  <<
