A day in the life of an F-15 pilot.
Awesome Air to Air footage. Some WOW fur balls. especially 5-8 mins. Some
random thoughts from an Army Chinook Driver/Aerospace Engineer in no
particular order.
1. Spectacular visibility in US Fighters.
2. Some serious g's during maneuvering. Obvious in labored pilot breathing
and vapor flow separation on upper wing under high g-load
3. Very high radio chatter environment. Would be easy to have some
important info loss due to inadvertent simultaneous transmissions
4. If I were a US enemy, I would want to remove the AWACS force multiplier.
Directly or jam. Whatever it took.
5. No finer fighter pilots than USAF, USMC, USN. No where. No way....
Enjoy. I did. Could almost feel the g's! Buzz
Comment from a fighter pilot: This is without reservation the best video I
have ever viewed depicting air-to air combat.
The producer and photographer were able to show perspective of the entire
arena in a way I've never seen.
This is as "real" as it could possibly be! When the pilot got into a
scissors or luffberry I could almost feel the g's! For me the video was
extremely nostalgic!
A day in the life of a fighter pilot. Filmed at Kadena AB, Okinawa.
Last week, the Raytheon Trophy was presented to LtC Papa Cioppa and the men
and women of the 67th FS Fighting Cocks.
Richly deserved recognition for a bunch of great folks.
Awesome video from Kadena at the link below.
