And thanks for appreciating them, Tom.
   Several European monitors posted to my _MilRadioComms at yahoogroups.com_ 
(mailto:MilRadioComms at yahoogroups.com)   that they see KC-135s fly all the 
time with the hose extended like that. It is  actually in the parked position 
for the hose. The basket is used over there for  fueling USN/USMC and NATO 
aircraft.
   Bolt 06 refueled a USMC F/A-18D shortly before he came into my  
neighborhood yesterday.
