I rented a 4WD (I had to walk up there on my other trips) and spent Thursday night and friday up near Fairview
Peak overlooking Bravo-17. Joker, Falcon, Switch, Bullet, King, Saber Hawk and Hunter flights from CVW-2 were heard on Fallon Clearance Delivery, Ground, Tower, Approach, and Desert control. It's line of sight to Fallon NAS up there. Most callsigns changed when they went to the working freqs as usual for the navy. Thrusday night flights were droping LGTRs on Bravo 17 making the quick flash visible when the spotting charge goes off.
I took no video as i was still driving around up there. On Friday there was no activity at Bravo 17 that i saw and i spent most of the time with the scanner searching. The airwing flights ended around noon and the Top Gun type flights went to around 4pm. The freqs for the Top Gun flights were the same as already posted so i will leave them out except for a few.
