I also don't see this as a replacement for anything.
I'm just hoping the scan rate is faster than my 996T.
I know a guy who bought a 996T when they first come out. Sold it 60 day's
later saying it was a piece of crap for MILAIR.
I love my 996T for MILAIR. Trial and error I think it's right up there with
sliced bread and crunchy peanut butter.;-)
After programming everything I had in my area for USAF,USN,USMC,USA and USCG
plus FAA UHF.
I call everything else unknown.
These are all in a System and Groups.
When I get a hit it goes into my 895 to be monitored.
Are MILAIR monitor's ELITEST,no not by any sense of your imagination!
I gave up on Stab and Jab plus Scratch and Dent along time ago.
A good MILAIR monitor has to have a sack full of patience!
I will not get into the Wizard and Wannabe MILAIR monitor's.
