You were definitely getting a bit of tropo, congrads.

Your 252.800 has two best choices. Based on what you heard, it could be the 
12FTW at Randolph AFB or may have been one of the SCW-1 E-6B Squadrons 
(VQ-3/4). Both have used the Gator callsign in the past. This freq is now 
assigned as a USAF C2 nationwide, so my best guess is Randolph.

Your 239.525, is one of my spectrum holes. Based on what you monitored 
(Check 1 aka Check Flight?) I would say something associated with the TSTC 
in Waco. If you get any more please pass it along since it has now moved 
from a spectrum hole to unknown. ;-)))
