[MilCom] Tuff 23 update

1843z 311.000 Tuff 23 still 20 minutes out from field, fuel 85K persons on board no weapons or flares on board.  May have a problem with hydraulics.  Did not catch who he was talking to or what airfield enroute to.  I believe Tuff call sign used by B-52 out of Barksdale, so he may be headed there, reception was weak. 


Tuff 23 (B-52 from Barksdale) did have hydraulic problems and was in comms with KBAD.  

Upon arrival at KBAD the landing gear was not working properly due to hydraulic pressure at 0.  3 working breaks, in caution zone, had to dump more fuel.  Eventually landed safely.

Tuff 23 was monitored by Jerry Strahan and a another in Louisiana.  Jerry gave me permission to post on other lists besides milradiocomms.
