You could be out of the range of one of the High Sights or in a null. Also
MANY people have not bought the newer radios, so they may not have the DSC
function.When the older radios break, I'm sure they will buy newer ones with
DSC. Then some just don't buy radios with DSC, even if they buy a new one
and YES, they should have a back-up number just in case.
