[MilCom] 11175.0 - ANDREWS, OFFUTT and SNOWDROP

     11175.0 was active at 1947z with ANDREWS calling SNOWDROP in the
blind about status of DHTBTW with no known response.  At 1948z OFFUTT
(fair/good) called SNOWDROP "on 11175"  and requested status of
DHTBTW.  At 1949z SNOWDROP (weak/often readable) raised OFFUTT and
stated that "message is in the wind at 1949z."  OFFUTT confirmed
"message in the wind" and out.  At 1951z OFFUTT called and raised
SNOWDROP (now unheard here) to advise that "'in the wind' terminology
was not understandable" and requested clarification.  OFFUTT then
asked "if EAM DHTBTW in queue at this time" and was apparently
(unheard) advised that it was and gone. It's been many years since
I've heard "message in the wind" used by the players.
