[MilCom] Great New England Air Show Static Displays Initial Report

Had the opportunity to get a quick golf cart tour of the flight line this
evening.  Here's what I observed as far as static display aircraft:

War bird aircraft (looked like at least 6 or 7 aircraft)

Aircraft away from the static display area included 2 Harriers, 1 F18, of
course the TBirds, etc.

Also the Mass State Police Command/Control/Communications Trailer (45 feet 
long) has also been set up next to the Fire Department to coordinate airshow 
security vehicle traffic control.

I'll be working in concession booth #3 "Giant Cheesburgers" & "Nachos/ with 
Cheese" (which is close to the pull thru hangar that the breakfast was held 
at today) both days of the airshow.  The non profit organization I belong to 
staffs this booth and we get fairly substantial donation from the vendor 
which helps fund part of our programs.  Most if not all of the other food 
booths are also manned by nonprofit groups.  Not sure if I have my scanner 
with me and/or FRS radio BUT during breaks from the grill I will be doing 
some walking around.

I might add today (Friday) was a great day to watch the TBirds and other 
performers "practice"!!!   My understanding is the Saturday show may have 
the schedule moved up a bit so that the TBirds will be able to perform 
before the severe weather moves in. (It's possible their show might be as 
early as 1300 hrs local).  Sunday may be a nicer day, and things may be more 
on the typical airshow schedule.
