I had a smiliar problem with mine. Worked good for about a year after i bought it. I use an earpiece and wear it at work so we don't get caught with out pants down so to speak when some unannounced GA aircraft rolls in. It started intermittently then now it pretty much doesn't work at all. The speaker jack that is. Occasionally it will after i leave it alone but then it goes back to it's old ways.
