Pretty active Friday.

275.80: SOCK-41, flight of 2, 9F-16, Buckley), cleared out on VR-413. (2
sorties)
275.80: REDEYE-69, (F-16, Buckley), cleared to Phoenix Mesa Gateway.
328.025: TRIBE-58, (C-17A, Altus), land Colorado Springs. Picking up AF
Academy Wings of Blue jump team. ((Most unusual. They usually jump from a Twin
Otter))
275.80: RIVAL-31, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley) cleared Cheyenne MOA. (2
sorties)
275.80: REDEYE-11, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Cheyenne MOA. (2
sorties)
275.80: STUD-21, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Cheyenne MOA. (2
sorties)
((Went MARSA with REDEYE flight on the first sortie. And the 4-ship did a
fly-by in the Colorado Springs area. Possibly AF Academy))
319.00: KING-01, (Unk jet type), with Denver Center, FL 280. Switch 306.90
and 316.125. ((Definitely NOT a C-130. Pilot wearing a mask))
289.40: TRIBE-58, (C-17A, Altus), with OVERLOOK, (AF Academy jump
controller),
and also Scenic Control (AF Academy fly-by coordinator). Will do two passes.
Will
drop 5 jumpers on the first pass, and 6 on the second.
289.40: ?COLFAT?-1, flight of 2, (T-45), fly-by AF Academy. (Wierd).
((COLFAT is as close as I could get to whatever his callsign was))
372.20: DILLON-1, (C-21A, CO-ANG), takeoff Colorado Springs. Return later.
239.025: REACH 6274, (Unk), land Colorado Springs. ((Still don't know who
this guy is, but suspect he is the Little Rock C-130 that usually comes into
Buckley))
319.00: KING-01, (Unk jet type), with Denver Center, FL 270. Switch 354.15.
((Headed back east again))
121.00: PAT-096, (C-26B, Buckley), land.
354.15: HORNET-75, (F/A-18), with Denver Center, FL 260. Climbing to 360.
Switch 276.40 and climb to 430. Switch 323.25.
372.20: JOSA-954, (C-21A, Andrews), inbound to Colorado Springs. Also trying
to reach Peterson on 328.025 and 318.05. Finally broadcasts in the blind.
((You'd think with all the money spent on that base down there they could get
Command Post or PTD some radios that could pick up aircraft more than one mile
away. Geez!!))
328.025: JOSA-523, (C-21A, Peterson), takeoff Colorado Springs. ((Also making
snarky comments about Peterson's radios; or lack of same))
239.025: JIMBO-71, flight of 2, (?AT-38C, Columbus?), land Colorado Springs.
239.025: NASA-834, (F/A-18A, Dryden), will be orbiting over the AF Academy
for about 15 minutes between 11,000 and 8,000 feet; then recovering at Peterson.
Working with Academy Tower on 124.15. Don't know what that's all about.
328.025: JOSA-221, (C-21A), futile calls to Knight Ops, (Peterson).
