Whiteman.
239.025: TRAUMA-01, (?F-22?), land Colorado Springs. Take off later headed
east. Climbing to FL 450 and requesting direct Little Rock.
289.40: CHILL-03, (B-52H, Minot), fly-by AF Academy; then pick up clearance
to
Minot.
291.675: VAMPIRE-95, (F/A-18, VX-9, China Lake), wants to land Buckley, but
BAK-12 cables are laying loose on the runway for maintenance, so has to
divert to Pueblo. Take off later headed west; probably back to China Lake.
318.05: DILLON-2, (C-21A, CO-ANG), calling KNIGHT OPS.
291.675: THUNDERBIRD-7, flight of ??, (F-16, Nellis), also got wave off from
Buckley and diverted to the Springs. Take off later for Nellis.
318.05: JOSA-392, (C-21A, Peterson), land Colorado Springs.
319.00: BOGEY-51, (F-5N, VFC-13, Fallon), with Denver Center, FL 280.
Switch 323.25 and requesting direct Grand Junction.
318.00: JOSA-412, (C-21A), land Colorado Springs.
121.00: THUNDERBIRD-5, (F-16, Nellis), land; then on to Nellis. ((Female solo
pilot))
291.675: REDEYE-91, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), land.
121.00: REACH 0534, (C-17A, Charleston), land.
121.60: LEROY-42, (H-500, helo), reposition to the Guard Ramp.
121.60: LEROY-71, flight of 2, (H-500), cleared out VFR.
121.60: EXIT-61, flight of 2, (H-60), cleared out VFR.
((Not sure who these guys are, but they have been flying steady missions over
Denver most of the afternoon and evening. Even do hot pit refueling after
landing and then right back out again. I don't have any helos using LEROY & EXIT
in my files. Suspect LEROYs came in on the C-17))
