I've heard 104FW go into W105 three times now and they follow the exact same frq pattern in and
out. Doesn't mean it will always be this way, but probably a good bet for dedicating one bank of
a scanner.
I hope they will be more talkative when in pairs or groups. And I hope the transceivers on all
F-15s aren't as weak as the one on NASTYs bird. He was almost impossible to hear most of the
time. I'm used to the A-10s booming when they're in the area.
Also the 2nd cable is indeed installed .... I heard them testing it two weeks ago and didn't
realize it.
And another tibbit from AirScoop ..... 3 more birds due in from Kadena in the middle of this
month. By my count, that would make 19 aircraft assigned. But my count may be off.
Anyone who may catch 3 F-15s heading East from the west coast, by all means send a heads-up, if
you please. I'm trying to be on site when they arrive.
