Interesting to note that the ejected pilot didn't use his AN/PRC-112?
survival radio to communicate with his wing man that he was ok. I thought
that they all carried personal survival gear radio?

More information on the crash including an eye witness (unfortunately didn't
have a scanner) can be found at:
http://www.wabashplaindealer.com/articles/2007/05/31/state_news/state1.txt

Now from a marketing effort of milcom capable radio scanner
retailers/mailorder retailers , IF they were smart they would take some ads
out in the local newspaper & basically state you too can listen to the air
activity above your town!!! (required the add coupon be sent in with the
order for $5.00 off etc)..... There's 19,000 people in that town/area.
Just think IF 200 to 400 people went out and bought scanners. We'd sure be
getting more reports from that area!!! :)
