Spelling Out Airport Names Re: [MilCom] 225.0 MHz

And really, I don't suppose I'd object to the 4-letter
code either IFF those who are bound and determined not
to post the full name of the location will post that
4-letter code along with one of the mentioned websites
that will give the full information.......even if just
now and then.

Commenting upon the other items. As for "research
skills", I doubt if I am the only person subscribed to
this list who has multiple hobbies of either a radio
or other nature. So if "research skills" means
"go look it up on the web" that's great but frankly
I'd rather spend my time actually *engaged in the
hobby* than in more computer time. The question I
posed took very little time for someone else to
answer, and 'thank you' to that poster.

As for "just lurking", some have more time than others
to devote to listening as well as posting. Sorry that
I don't post all that much information. Part of it is
time available and part of it is that where I'm at,
the vast majority of anything I ever hear is already
reported or well known (because I read it here I know
that's true) or such garden variety stuff that nobody
wants to know. Central Indiana just ain't the most
exciting place in aviation these days, sorry to say,
and even just reporting stuff from airshows is getting
harder because those have been getting fewer as
military units have either drawn down or base
commanders have simply decided not to have them
anymore.

I take some of my material down to individual emails
as it is often very specific stuff that would likely
interest only a limited number of people at best. If
and or when something particularly new or interesting
comes along I'll be sure to bring it here.

In the meantime, I'll go back to lurking - and I might
add, it's often got some very interesting
information.........
