Blue Angel #6 was Lieutenant Commander Kevin Davis

Lt Cmdr Davis was station at NAS Oceana
with the VF-11 “Red Rippers” and (VFC-12)
 “Omars,” he also was a graduate of the
Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) in
2004 His decorations include the Air Medal, two Navy
and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and various
personal and unit awards LtCmdr Davis join the
Blue Angels in 2005

I heard from one news network that the Beaufort 
Fire Dept took down there American flag to
carry to the crash site to place over the
LtCmdr Davis body when it was removed from the
wreckage and was given full honors by the
military and fire dept at the time a very
nice tribute on a very sad day

My condolences to his family and the Blue Angels
