Pretty boring event Milcom wise. POTUS arrived to Dayton using the
standard VHF frequencies;
118.85 from the East, 127.65 North of the field, 134.45 on the West
side and then to the tower on 119.9
as he came in for Rwy 6L. The only overhead activity seen was an
Ohio State Patrol Helicopter 71 HP that checked the approach end and
stayed aloft just to the North of the runway and then took off to
sweep the motorcade route. Did not see or hear any CAP activity this
time around. In 2004 we had CHEVY out of Selfridge.
SENTRY 21 was nearby and was heard on 317.75 > KZID and with Wright
Pat METRO on 344.6.
WIZARD ALPHA with HUNTRESS on 260.90 and 349.4 for any station signal check.
There was a Charleston C-17, 50107 "Spirit of North Charleston" on
the ramp when I arrived and it is still there now. Sorry, no call sign.
The Buckeye MOA was active with the F-16's from Springfield and their
guests from the Netherlands, CONDOR 11 & 12.
Later it was SCOFF 11-14.
The only thing out of Wright Pat was a C-5, RHINO 48, that had gear
trouble but had to stay out 30nm due to the TFR.
They later landed with no problem.

Later, John.
