[MilCom] RX 836 repeatedly calling Mainsail on 8992

It is Wed, 3:13am EDT (0713z).
  RX 836 (North Island NAS C-40A #165836) has been calling "Mainsail"  
steadily for a while now on HF-GCS 8992.0 kHz USB with no joy. Signal is  fairly 
strong, at least as strong as Pelican 71D just was on his ph patch.  Sometimes, 
it seems like the HF-GCS operators just wander away from the radio  for a cup 
of coffee at night.
