Hello hobbyists:

Just wanted to give a salute to Al for keeping us informed about all the
traffic
in his monitoring area.

Al's common list of updated frequencies can be found at:
http://hometown.aol.com/allanstern/myhomepage/

For those that aren't aware of Al's fixed monitoring post setup checkout:
http://hometown.aol.com/scanaddict/index.html
It shows 34 desktop & 23 handhelds, coupled to antennas on a 25 foot tower
and this is only one (main) monitoring post in his residence!!!

Perhaps Al will share with us how he can effectively monitor 34+ radio
scanners
at one time. I'd assume that many of them are parked on one frequency or
perhaps scan/search a defined small range of scanning frequencies.
Personally, I have
trouble monitoring with multiple scanners running at my fixed monitoring
post, so usually
limit activity to 2 scanners!!! ;)

Ken
